The wedding party and immediate family will attend a (maybe) socially distanced ceremony on the beach, followed by dinner. Specific details about covid protocols will be determined closer to the event.

  • First Met

    April 24, 2018

    I think the first time I noticed you was as I was struggling to put my bags in the overhead bin, and heard you trying to secretly laugh at me. Didn’t take long to win you over though, by the time the safety announcements started we were already being sushed by the flight attendant. By the end you told me I’d never forget you, I guess you were right.

  • First Date

    When you came to San Diego for the first time I was so nervous you wouldn't believe it. I was terrified the flight was a one-off, but within an hour we were getting along famously again. After half a dozen beers we ended up at Coin Op, where you absolutely stomped me at Pinball. That's when I knew I'd made the right choice.

    The first time I really met all of your friends was at the Halloween party. My costume was a bit of a disaster, but we had so much fun. I was nervous about meeting your friends, but by the end of the night the girls had me taking drunk selfies. When we got home that night you finally admitted you loved me, guess I passed the test.

  • First Vacation

    February 18, 2019

    Growing up, Hawaii was one of my fondest childhood memories. Exploring all the waterfalls, eating yummy food, and really just enjoying being in nature. I remember planning this amazing vacation, and thinking about our first week spent completely together. I think we grew closer that week, enjoying every minute we got to spend together. I think that’s when I realized I wanted the rest of my special moments to be with you.

  • Engagement

    August 3rd, 2019

    I've been thinking about this moment since our first date in San Diego. Every time we're together I get more certain that you're the one for me. I remember thinking, that first time we went to the fair, that I'd never been this happy before. Your joy is infectious, your laughter is my medicine, you wonder at the small things, and remind me to wonder too. So I gave you a small thing and asked you for forever, and you said yes. I'm so lucky I get to marry the love of my life.
